Cream butter, thoroughly
Add sugar, vanilla, and almond extracts
Add nuts and flour, mix well
Knead slightly by hand, pinch off small tablespoon-sized portions and shape into a crescent
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, fairly close together
Bake at 350° about 15 minutes or to a light tan color
Cool slightly then roll in sifted confectioners sugar
Store in an airtight can
