Pesto

An easy pesto recipe made from fresh basil

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fresh Basil leaves
  • 4 T Fresh Parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Pine nuts
  • 2 T Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine basil, parlsey, pine nuts, garlic, add to food processor and process until minced.

    With the food processor running, slowly drizzle the olive oil in until the mixture is smooth.

    Add parmesan cheese, lemon juice and process briefly. Season to taste with sea salt and peper (if you wish).
