Pumpkin Pie Spice Twinkie Tiramisu
It’s the time of year for the warmth and comfort of all things Pumpkin Pie Spice. The grocery store displays are showcasing Pumpkin beer, Pumpkin Pie Spice Cheerios, Pumpkin Pie Spice Kitkats, and even Pumpkin Pie Spice Twinkies.
As soon as I saw the Pumpkin Pie Spice Twinkies I knew I had to turn them into an easy Twinkie Tiramisu dessert.
Celebrate pumpkin season with this homemade pumpkin pie spice recipe that substitutes twinkies for the classic Lady Fingers.

PRO TIP: This tiramisu could just as easily be made with pumpkin cake donuts from Dunkin Donuts. They are available for a limited time just like all other pumpkin spice products. Get your fill and get them while you can.
Tiramisu is just a layered dessert, it’s not difficult. The classic dish calls for Lady Fingers, brandy, and mascarpone cheese. Mine isn’t all that different.
To make Pumpkin Pie Spice Twinkie Tiramisu you will need 8 pumpkin pie Twinkies, heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, espresso, and brandy. Of course, pantry staples such as sugar, vanilla extract, and Pumpkin pie spice will also be needed.
Make this Tiramisu with or without alcohol, that’s a personal preference and won’t affect the final product. Also, you can substitute cream cheese for the mascarpone if you want. Just blend cream cheese with 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream until well blended and use in place of mascarpone.
Use a store-bought pumpkin pie spice mix or toss together the spice mixture from a variety of spices you may already have in your spice cabinet.
See my recipe for this popular fall spice blend at the end of this post.
