Fun Father’s Day Gifts for Dad

Yes, it’s Father’s Day

Why is it that kids do not conceive of their parents as ever being young, cool, sexy, or rockin’ the hard body? No wonder they can’t come up with a more fun Father’s Day gift ideas than a tie.

But Dad was young. Once. He had hair. And a waistline. And a 6-pack…not the one in the fridge. Looking for trouble or love. Or just a good party. He didn’t always own dad-jeans. He used to tell really good jokes.

For a special treat

A sweet Father’s Day dessert

Make a batch of cupcakes or his favorite muffins and top with these cute cupcake toppers. You can find them here on Etsy. They are super-easy to assemble. Print them at home on cardstock. Cut out images with scissors or a 2″ hole punch. Use a complementary pattern or plain paper for the backing. Apply glue to the back of each circle, sandwich a toothpick or small skewer in between the 2 circles, and press together until set. Decorate frosted cupcakes or muffins with your completed cupcake topper.

Techno Dad

Something he wants

Fitbit, MVMT watch. Tile Find Everything

For the more active dad, the Fitbit Charge 3 Fitness Tracker will keep him updated on the calories he is burning, his resting heart rate, even the amount of time spent in various sleep cycles. It tracks him day and night. Pretty much the same thing he does to you.

Sometimes he wants or needs to dress things up a bit. This Classic Bronze Age wristwatch from MVMT is the perfect accessory when he has to dress up.

OK, he may not be so happy with the IDEA of this gift but will be thrilled once it is put to use and saves his butt. Dad’s seem to lose things. Certainly not all Dad’s, but enough that this little gizmo was created. Tile Sport Key Finder. Phone Finder. Wallet Finder. Anything Finder.

If he still doesn’t have a wireless charger get him this Anker Wireless Charger.

While you’re upgrading his tech does he need wireless headphones? iJoy Matte Finish Premium Rechargeable Wireless Headphones will do the trick.

Practical Dad

Something he needs

Father's day gifts Drill brush set, CarGuys Supercleaner, Swiss Army Knife

Make a note of this…the Drill Is Not Included. But let him get his own drill. He knows what he wants. Get him the Holikme 6 Piece Drill Brush Attachment Set. He’s gonna power through grease and scum on anything that doesn’t run away. Watch Dad Work!

If Dad has a special (but not creepy) bond with his automobile, make sure he has a bottle of CarGuys Super Cleaner. This all-purpose cleaner is great for the interior messes on the leather, vinyl, or carpet and upholstery. Or on the exterior to clean rubber or plastic surfaces. Gets rid of grease, bird poop, and tree sap.

The classic gift of all time is a Swiss Army Knife. Everybody needs one of these. Maybe not the model that has 500 tools, but a useful 13 functions that will solve a whole lot of problems.

Disney dad

He’ll be easy to shop for

If you’ve got one of these then I suggest this…a Mickey Backpack, a Mickey Mouse Watch, and a Denim jacket.
